PROJECT story
On The Plate is a fictional conference all about cooking, food and what it means to share meals together. I created consistent branding for the project that included informational and session posters, a booklet guide for the entire conference, signage, merch and even name tags.
I wanted to create a bold and fun look for the conference as food is something that brings family and cultures together. It should overall feel happy, positive and engaging. I really pushed funky typography and a off-kilter grid to give viewers a lot to engage with. The fruit and vegetable elements were created with photos of nature, abstract art and building textures - all pieced together to give a sense of a cultural and familial mash-up.
